Recruitment Fairs
Search Associates organises several Recruitment Fairs in different countries around the world every year. These remarkably relaxed and friendly events bring together selected Recruiters and Candidates. They are organised so that every candidate can have several interviews during the two or three days of the Fair.
Candidates and recruiters please note that the fair preference indicated by the candidate in the online candidate application form constitutes a preference only. Candidates must be invited and accepted to attend a Search Associates recruitment fair before their eligibility to attend is confirmed.
The Recruitment Fairs are a very effective means of matching candidates with vacancies. They have the added advantages of allowing both recruiters and candidates to learn more about each other in formal and informal situations.
As well as one-on-one interviews, each school usually gives a presentation about itself and the country in which it is located. Candidates also learn a great deal about the international schools scene (and about individual schools) from each other. All candidates who register with Search Associates are encouraged to attend at least one of our Recruitment Fairs to improve their chances of placement.
Gez Hayden organises the London-January Recruitment Fair for IB Schools, Teachers and Administrators, for a select number of British Curriculum international schools, and for up to 100 British Curriculum candidates. Other Senior Associates and Assistants attend this Fair not only to help with its organisation and delivery, but also to act as advisers for candidates and schools.
Candidates registered with the Gez Hayden branch of Search Associates can also apply to attend any of the other Search Associates Fairs listed in the Recruitment Fairs Schedule, bearing in mind that the final decision on candidate numbers / invitations to each fair has to rest with the organiser.
