Search Associates consists of a growing team of very experienced educators almost all of whom have spent many years working in international schools across the globe at senior management level. Our strength is our inside knowledge of hundreds of schools, and our decades of meeting with fellow Heads of international schools and their many outstanding teacher colleagues, thousands of whom we have interviewed in some depth. We advise and support teachers, communicating with large numbers every day. We also meet Heads and visit schools as often as possible. Our background means that we appreciate the implications of every staffing need, every in-school constraint and every local or national difficulty, which you may ask us to bear in mind.
The aim of the Gez Hayden IB Schools and IB Teachers branch of Search Associates is to serve schools and teachers who are involved mainly in international (especially IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes) education within English-medium schools for children ages 3-19.
The hundreds of teachers and administrators who annually register with Gez Hayden cover a wide range of nationalities. They are primarily teachers already overseas in IB schools, seeking work in an IB or other similarly international school. Good IB PYP, MYP and Diploma teachers – generalists and subject specialists – are usually to be found on my register of candidates actively seeking positions in good international schools.
An applicant – teaching or leadership (administrative) – is only registered if the curriculum vitae, the interview / meetings with his or her senior associate, and the confidential references, lead to the conclusion that many overseas schools would be likely to find that teacher a welcome addition to their academic staff.
