Search Associates consists of a growing team of very experienced educators almost all of whom have spent many years working in international schools across the globe at senior management level. Our strength is our inside knowledge of hundreds of schools, and our decades of meeting with fellow Heads of international schools and their many outstanding teacher colleagues, thousands of whom we have interviewed in some depth. We advise and support teachers, communicating with large numbers every day by e-mail, telephone, fax and letter. We also meet Heads and visit schools as often as possible. Our background means that we appreciate the implications of every staffing need, every in-school constraint and every local or national difficulty, which you may ask us to bear in mind.
The aim of the Harry Deelman IB teachers branch of Search Associates is to serve all those schools and teachers who are involved mainly in international (especially IB) or related education within 'mainstream' schools working in English with children ages 3-19 (or any subset of that age range).
The hundreds of teachers who annually register with Harry Deelman cover a wide range of nationalities. They are primarily teachers already overseas in IB schools, who are seeking work in an IB or other similarly international school. Teachers of all ages of children, 3-19, and of all the specialist subjects taught in good international schools, are usually to be found on Harry Deelman's register of actively job-seeking candidates.
An applicant is only registered if the curriculum vitae, and the interview / meetings with his or her senior associate, and the confidential references, lead to the conclusion that many overseas schools would be likely to find that teacher a welcome addition to their academic staff.
