Search Associates Services for School Recruiters
Harry Deelman and the other members of the Search Associates team offer the following services to School Recruiters:
- Year-round placement service - Contact us for assistance with your regular and emergency recruiting needs throughout the year. A message to any one of the Search Associates team will enlist the assistance of all branches.
- Daily communication of all new vacancies to job-seeking candidates - Reach the relevant candidates by listing your vacancies on your school's entry in the Search Associates Schools Database (see below). Every 24 hours, all new and amended vacancies are automatically e-mailed to every Search Associates candidate who is still actively looking for a new overseas posting.
- Recruitment Fairs - Search Associates organises several Recruitment Fairs around the world every year. Each Recruitment Fair gives you the chance to meet and interview many pre-screened and carefully selected candidates for your vacancies. Recruitment Fairs offer you a very time- and cost-efficient method of recruiting, coupled with advice from the Search Associates team present at the fair.
- Online Candidate Database - This password-protected database contains the Search Associates Application Forms of almost all Search-registered candidates who are actively looking for a move, and enables each registered recruiter to review a candidate's confidential references. We strongly recommend that you also contact the senior associate (in Search) with whom the specific candidate is registered, for that associate's views on the strength of the candidate and the candidate's suitability for your school. All School Heads who are accepted as recruiters at any of the Search Associates Recruitment Fairs will be able to access the Candidate Database freely throughout the year. Schools that cannot attend a Recruitment Fair are able to apply to Search Associates to use this facility at a cost of US$ 200 per year plus an initial school Joining Fee. Please click here for further information.
- Online Schools Database - All schools wishing to attend one or more of the Search Associates Recruitment Fairs and those that wish to have access to the Candidate Database must complete an electronic Application Form for Schools in which the School lists information about itself, its vacancies and its hiring policies. This information is added to the Schools Database which is password protected and can be viewed by Search-registered candidates only. Please click here to start this process.
- Banner advertisements - Schools are invited to post banner advertisements on the main US-based Search Associates website with hotlinks to the School's own website by clicking here.
- School-specific Head searches & the selection of others in Senior Management - Let Search Associates organise your Head-search. British-system schools should contact David Cope. American-system and/or IB international schools should Click Here.
- Even if you decide not to appoint Search Associates to help organise your Head / Principal or other Senior Management search, you can nevertheless ADVERTISE your Senior Management Position Vacancies on the highly relevant, publicly accessible webpages of the Search Associates Headquarters website, where your vacancies will be seen by the thousands of candidates who visit the website each week. Please send an e-mail to Melinda Williams at if you would like additional information. The cost of posting an ad (which will run for as long as needed) on the Search Associates website for an administrative position is US$ 475. Please visit http://www.search-associates.com/associates/searches_menu.cfm to view the School Head Positions and Other Administrative Positions currently being advertised on the Search Associates Headquarters website.
- Schools advisory service - There is no charge for our response to your enquiries, which are welcome at any time. Quotes for more detailed consultancies are available via Harry Deelman.
