The London-January Recruitment Fair: Information for CANDIDATES for the LEADERSHIP SECTION
The London-January Recruitment Fair attracts between 80 and 100 schools with one or more of the IB PYP, MYP and Diploma programmes. Additionally, 15 to 25 top British Curriculum international schools are invited each year. Candidates with experience and training in these programmes are especially welcome; the overall candidate curriculum experience ratio at this fair will be IB 4 : UK 1.
All candidates should understand that the London-January Fair attracts schools from all over the world, and does not focus on one geographical region.
Administrative Candidates may also interview for regular teaching positions at this fair, in addition to leadership positions.
Candidates in the Leadership Section will have appropriate experience and qualifications to fill key positions in international schools with good IB PYP, MYP and Diploma programmes, and/or overseas schools with good British System Programmes (3 - 19).
Examples of leadership positions are: Principals; PYP, MYP and Diploma Coordinators; Grade Level Coordinators; CAS / Community and Service Coordinators; MYP Areas of Interaction Leaders; IB Workshop Leaders and Trainers (usually integrally to another responsibility position); Counselors; and Year Heads.
